1. How can I find someone to conduct a Humanist wedding, or a humanist wedding, or naming ceremony? We provide ceremonies through our network of HSS Registered Celebrants(™), you can contact a celebrant by visiting our ceremonies section. 2. How do I know if I am a Humanist? You can take our fun quiz to find out if your views align with Humanist values. 3. Is Humanism anti-religious? Humanism is a positive belief system, we seek to promote our positive vision for a secular Scotland where all people are treated equally. We do however campaign for many changes in society, such as the legal and social privileges that many religious organisations enjoy – sometimes people interpret this as negative, but it’s impossible to campaign for any change unless we highlight the flaws with current arrangements. 4. How can I get in touch with you? You can find out how to get in touch on our Contact Us page. You can also contact a specific person from the Senior Management Team. 5. How do I become a member? You can find out more about becoming a member by visiting the Join page, or getting in touch with us. 6. Can I arrange for a someone to come and speak at my school/youth group? We have a range of trained HSS School Visitors across Scotland, visit the Schools Visitor page to find out more.
