Lynsey Kidd, Director of Services Lynsey Kidd, Director of Services of Humanist Society Scotland said, “Humanist Society Scotland today welcome the news that celebrants from Northern Ireland Humanists this weekend will marry couples under new rules. “Scotland was the first part of the UK to have legal Humanist marriage and last year Humanist Society Scotland conducted more weddings than any religious group, including the Church of Scotland. “We look forward to the day that all Humanists from all parts of the UK, including same-sex couples, can have a meaningful ceremony reflective of their beliefs, just as they have in Scotland.” Share on: FacebookTwitterLinkedInPinterestEmail ×
