Prof. Richard Wiseman announced as Keynote Speaker for HSS Annual Conference

We are delighted to announce that Prof. Richard Wiseman will deliver the Keynote Address at this year’s HSS Annual Conference.

Prof. Wiseman is one of the Society’s Distinguished Supporters. He earned his PhD at the University of Edinburgh and is now Professor of the Public Understanding of Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire, where he has gained an international reputation for research into the psychology of luck, self-help, persuasion, and illusion. As well as his significant achievements as an experimental psychologist, Prof. Wiseman is also an accomplished magician and advocate for skepticism.

Prof. Wiseman will address the conference on the topic of his recent research into the science of sleep, with a look at the content of his recent book Night School.
