New Education Resources for Schools

Humanist Society Scotland has launched a new set of educational resources designed to match the Higher and National 5 RMPS curriculum.

The resources cover a humanist approach to a number of moral and ethical questions including assisted dying, justice, relationships, and climate change.

The resources are available to download for free from our website and any school in Scotland can request fully printed versions for their use.

Commenting on their launch alongside the Society’s new strategic plan, Humanist Society Scotland chair Maggie Kinloch said:

“These new resources give teachers a great tool when exploring non-religious responses to some of the most challenging topics in the RMPS cirriculum.

“We hope these new freely available booklets and digital versions will find widespread use across Scotland.”

Chief Executive of Humanist Society Scotland Fraser Sutherland said:

“This builds on our already popular offer of school visitors and allows more schools across the country access to materials to help them meet the requirements reagrdign non-religious beliefs in the RMPS classroom.”
