Join #TeamHumanist for the Kiltwalk Fraser Sutherland • July 2018 There is still time to register to take part in one of Scotland’s biggest fundraising events of the year. Sign up to take part in the Kiltwalk for Humanist Society Scotland. Thanks to support from the Hunter Foundation anything you raise will be topped up by a whopping additional 40%. As a registered charity who received no government funding, the work of Humanist Society Scotland relies on support of people like you. There are still two events this year and we already have participants taking part in both: Dundee – 19th August Edinburgh – 16th September There are different distances to choose from to suit all abilities and ages ranging from 5 miles to 25 miles. All participants taking part for Humanist Society Scotland will receive a free t-shirt and fundraising materials. To register please visit the kiltwalk website. When you register to you can select ‘Humanist Society Scotland’ by typing into the charity box – see example below. If you have already registered and wish for the funds you raise to go to Humanist Society please get in touch with fraser@humanism.scot Paul and Cathie from Glasgow, pictured, took part earlier this year in the Glasgow on behalf of Humanist Society Scotland. They raised a fantastic £1,300 which will help fund our StreetCare Project in Glasgow which helps roofless people on Scotland’s streets with food, hot drinks and a friendly listening ear.
