If you are speaking to local candidates or attending hustings meetings you may consider asking candidates their opinion on matters we know are important to HSS members such as: How they will ensure Human Rights are protected and advanced both domestically and internationally How they will see that the social security system protects vulnerable people in society If they support church and state becoming separate so every citizen has their beliefs respected in equal measure What measures they support to ensure the environment is adequately protected and climate change tackled Links for manifestos of the political parties standing in all the Scottish constituencies can be found below and read online: Scottish Conservatives Scottish Labour Scottish Liberal Democrats Scottish National Party Note: In some constituencies there may be other candidates such as Green, UKIP or Independents.
