Friends at the End in Scotland

The campaigning organisation Friends at the End are hosting a number of events in Scotland throughout August.

Friends at the End are calling for a change in the law regarding end of life choices. They believe that for adults at the end of their lives, their is a fundamental right for everyone who is of sound mind but is either terminally ill or incurably suffering, to gain the ability to have assistance to die at a time and in the manner of their choosing.

They are inviting like minded people to share experiences and learn more about Friends at the End work to attend one of their sessions:

  • Dundee: Monday 7th August 11am, Dundee Voluntary Action, 10 Constitution Road, Dundee, DD1 1LL
  • Dunfermline: Monday 7th August 7pm, Dell Farquharson Community Centre, Nethertown Broad Street, Dunfermline, KY12 7DS
  • Edinburgh: Thursday 10th August 11am, Scottish Arts Club, 24 Rutland Square, Edinburgh, EH1 2BW
  • Glasgow: Thursday 31st August 2.30pm, Western Club, 32 Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow, G1 3AB
