Celebrant Training Programme Accepting Applications

Applications close 2nd July 2018.

Every year Humanist Society Scotland Registered Celebrants prepare and deliver thousands of unique, personal and meaningful ceremonies to celebrate life, love and family.  These ceremonies include Naming and Welcoming Ceremonies, Funerals, and Wedding and Civil Partnership Ceremonies.

The role of a Humanist Society Scotland Celebrant is to meet with those planning the ceremony and to develop a ceremony based on memories, stories, adventures, hopes and promises, which reflects our Humanist values and beliefs. Our celebrants are passionate about celebrating life.

Humanist Society Scotland is the longest standing and most trusted provider of Humanist ceremonies in Scotland; we have celebrants across Scotland, all from different backgrounds with different experiences.  All Humanist Society Scotland Registered Celebrants are self-employed but are part of a supported and supportive network.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic Humanists with finely tuned, highly developed interpersonal skills, who are excellent communicators, have a flair for writing and enjoy working with people, to join our team of Celebrants.
