Glasgow Humanists - Prof Pettigrove


The speaker at February's meeting will be Professor Glen Pettigrove, Chair of Moral Philosophy at Glasgow University's School of Humanities. Glen's main interests are virtue ethics and moral psychology and he has investigated emotions like anger and shame, forgiveness and reconciliation. Glen's work has connections with thinkers of the Scottish Enlightenment such as David Hume and Adam Smith. He has written a book, "Forgiveness and Love", as well as many articles and book sections on the subject. 

Our meeting on the 17th of February will be at Woodside Halls (36 Glenfarg Street, Glasgow, G20 7QE next to St Georges Cross)

and will begin at 2pm prompt; come earlier for tea, coffee and a biscuit for £1.
