Are you interested in finding out more about volunteering for Scotland’s leading humanist charity? Our Community Engagement Manager Lara will be on hand with some of our local volunteers to chat about opportunities to get involved with Humanist Society Scotland’s local events and campaigns.
Pop over to our stall for a chat!
- Could you help identify and organise guest speakers?
- Chair meetings?
- Welcome new members?
- Help host our pub nights or coffee mornings?
- Write content for a local humanist newsletter and help publicise events?
- Attend actions and demonstrations?
- Help with research or administrative tasks?
- Create content for our local social media channels?
- Help facilitate our book group meetings?
- Come up with ideas for new ways to engage our members?
If any of the above interests you please get in touch!
This is also an opportunity to meet representatives from dozens of organisations looking for volunteers at Scotland’s largest Volunteer Recruitment Fair hosted by Volunteer Edinburgh.
Volunteering is a great way to engage more deeply in our work, participate in our Humanist community, build new skills, forge new friendships and boost your confidence and wellbeing.
