Radical Thinking: How To See The Bigger Picture (Glasgow)

Date: Sunday 8th February   /   Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Hosted by Glasgow Humanists in Garnethill Multicultural Centre, with guest speaker Peter Lamont on Sunday 8th February at 1pm.

Guest speaker Professor Peter Lamont will talk about the factors that influence the way people think and how these can limit our understanding of the world. He explains that by learning to think more critically and differently, it is possible to step back from these limits and see the bigger picture. The talk is based on his book Radical Thinking and includes practical demonstrations to illustrate his points.

This month’s meeting will also feature brief updates on the society’s recent activities, and the opportunity to ask questions if you wish. After the meeting there’s an optional social in the pub, which you are also welcome to attend.
