The trans pride flag flying against a bright sky

My trans journey and how best to respect me

Date: Monday 9th October   /   Time: 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Ethan Muir is a fresher student just starting at Dundee University. Ethan is a trans man. He will talk about his trans journey and how best to respect him.

The event will be very informal, an ‘armchair’ type gathering. Ethan and his mum Ellen (Dundee Humanist Group’s secretary) will sit out front, and Ethan will talk of his journey so far. Ellen will guide the discussion as required. There will be ample opportunities to ask questions and interact.

In the audience will be Dundee University’s Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and he will answer any questions from the perspective of the university.

This is organised by Dundee Humanists local group in partnership with the University of Dundee Chaplaincy Centre, chaired by local group volunteer Ellen.
