Glasgow Humanists Meetup

Date: Sunday 14th January   /   Time: 1:30pm - 3:00pm

The thrust of this meeting will be to set the Glasgow group onto a new course that will endure for years to come, and we’d welcome your input. Answers will be sought to questions such as:

  • Should we continue to meet at the Quakers?
  • Is the day and time each month the most suitable?
  • Should we seek to have a speaker every month?
  • Can we form a committee to undertake various roles within the group?

This will be an informal conversation. Come along to listen, contribute, and get involved.  It’s also a great opportunity to meet other Humanists, and we’ll be joined by Humanist Society Scotland Community Engagement Manager, Lara Celini.

Join Glasgow Humanists on Sunday 14th January 2024 at the Quaker Meeting House. Doors open at 1.30pm for a 2pm start. Tea and coffee will be available.

Register interest

Participation is free, and you can just turn up, but it’s helpful if you can reserve a spot to give the organisers an idea of numbers to expect.

Registration is via the Glasgow Humanists Meetup page.

Venue: Quaker Meeting House, 38 Elmbank Street, Glasgow, G2 4PS

38 Elmbank Crescent is a Victorian town house.  There are several steps with a handrail to the front door.  We regret that the front of the building is not accessible to everyone. Please let us know if this is an issue for you. More accessibility information can be found on the Quaker Meeting house website.
