Edinburgh Humanists – what next? (online)

Date: Monday 3rd March   /   Time: 7:30pm - 9:00pm

An online discussion to explore “What next?” for the Edinburgh group.

  • Get an update on changes in the local organising group, and the need for more people to get involved, and a new convenor to chair the meetings.
  • Should the Edinburgh group join forces with other local groups to make a South East Scotland group?
  • What topics would you like to see featured at future meetings?
  • Is the model of a Zoom meeting followed by an in-person pub night working for you?
  • Do we need to change the days we meet in order to fit in with other organisations?
  • What special events would you like to see organised? (Such as World Humanist Day, Burns Supper etc)?

After this discussion, there will the opportunity to consider the following question: What could the Humanist Community do about Trump?

The meeting will be chaired by Jim Chalmers.

There is no charge for participation.
