Daffodil Walk (Fife)

Date: Friday 14th March   /   Time: 11:00am - 1:00pm

Join Fife Humanists for a leisurely walk starting at 11am from St David’s Harbour, in Dalgety Bay.  Look out for our small group of volunteers, they’ll be pleased to welcome you.

The walk will skirt Dalgety Bay, along the coastal path, with beautiful views across the Forth. Along the route there is the possibility of spotting seals, deer and other wildlife.  There are also some historic sites such as St Bridget’s Kirk and the remains of a WW2 battery to explore. The remains of Donibristle House now divided into residential apartments is also on our route.

We will walk through woodland and more open areas with plenty of opportunities to stop and enjoy the scenery. As we approach Aberdour there is a book drop where you can take a book to read and/or drop one off.

We then reach the spectacular Daffodil walk with its stunning display of dancing daffodils of many varieties. We can take our time on this last section of the walk to enjoy meandering along this lovely avenue set with the backdrop of the sea. Once we reach Aberdour there is the option of going to the Aberdour Hotel for lunch (everyone pays for their own lunch and refreshments).
