Film screening: ‘Contact’ – a celebration of Carl Sagan

Date: Monday 26th June   /   Time: 7:00pm - 9:30pm

Join us at the Robert Burns Centre Film Theatre in Dumfries for a rare screening of the 1997 sci-fi drama Contact, based on the novel by the late scientist, astronomer, and humanist Carl Sagan. The film tells the story of Dr. Ellie Arroway (Jodie Foster), who, after years of searching, finds conclusive radio-proof of extra-terrestrial intelligence, sending plans for a mysterious machine.
