Celebrate World Humanist Day in Glasgow

Date: Sunday 21st June   /   Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Sunday 21st June is World Humanist Day and Glasgow Humanists will be hosting an event to celebrate this. A great opportunity to find out more about humanist ideas, values and campaigns. There will be leaflets, books, posters and links to various websites to help with this, as well as friendly members of The Glasgow Humanists organising team of volunteers available to answer any questions, and chat to anyone who is curious about any aspect of humanism and the work of the charity, Humanist Society Scotland.

There will also be a free finger buffet, and hot and cold drinks.

We hope to see you there to celebrate World Humanist Day!

After the meeting there’s an optional social in the pub, which you are also welcome to attend.

This event is open to all Humanist Society Scotland members, supporters, and anyone who shares our vision and values. Participation is free but donations are welcome and help cover costs such as room hire.

You can just show-up, but it’s helpful if you can register through Meetup to give organisers an idea of how many people to expect, and in order to receive the online joining instructions.

Doors will open at 2pm for a 2.30pm start (finishing by 4pm) Our local group volunteers look forward to welcoming you!

Please note that Meetup is an independent online platform and social networking service that we use to facilitate the organisation of in-person and virtual events.  It’s free to join and a useful way to be kept informed of Glasgow Humanists upcoming events and activities.  You can also subscribe to the Glasgow Humanists newsletter
