Book Group Meeting: ‘The Inevitable: Dispatches on the Right to Die’ by Katie Engelhart

Date: Thursday 20th April   /   Time: 7:30pm - 8:30pm

Katie Engelhart’s empathetic and well-crafted work of journalism “explores what might be called the right-to-die underground, a world of people who wonder why a medical system that can do so much to try to extend their lives can do so little to help them end those lives in a peaceful and painless way” –  Brooke Jarvis, The New Yorker

Humanist Society Scotland’s Book Group meets quarterly online via Zoom, with participants right across Scotland. New members are always welcome! We don’t charge for participation, but you do need to register in advance.

Copies of the book should be available from all your usual book suppliers or local library. Another way to support independent bookshops is to order through bookshop.org.

To be kept informed of this and future book group meetings please sign up to our Book Group mailing list.
