Trustees Sought

Are you able to offer help and time to be a guardian for our charitable purposes, and ensure our campaigns and services reach a wider audience? Trustees would particularly welcome nominations from members who are women, under 40, or from ethnic minority or LGBT communities. In addition any members with professional fundraising experience would also bring helpful input to our current board.

An election to membership of the board of trustees is to be held. Individuals, who have been a member for at least six months, interested in standing for election to the board are encouraged to complete the online nomination form. The closing date for receipt of nominations to run in the trustee election is the 13th June 2025.

Being a charity trustee is a voluntary role but the Society will always reimburse reasonable expenses and any necessary materials required to carry out the role.

Any individual who would like to discuss potential nomination and what is involved in board membership is invited to contact the Chair Jennifer Buchan (jennifer.buchan@humanism.scot) or the Chief Executive Fraser Sutherland (chiefexec@humanism.scot).
