Naming & Welcoming Ceremonies

About

I am delighted to be a Humanist Society of Scotland Celebrant. I have lived in Argyll for 13 years having moved from Lanarkshire to raise my family. Initially, I started studying to be a Primary school teacher however I ended up as a Chartered Surveyor working in Glasgow.
I feel lucky to now live in beautiful Oban, where I cherish walking by the sea. I have been involved in various voluntary roles where I find it rewarding meeting and helping people.
My experiences have taught me to enjoy each day and the core values of Humanism are important to all of us as I believe we have one life and should endeavour to live it to the full, whilst being mindful of our responsibilities to each other and the planet we live on.

Naming & Welcoming Ceremonies

A Humanist Naming and Welcoming Ceremony is the most special, joyous celebration of new life.
The ceremony is a wonderful way to welcome your baby, child or new family member into your community of family and friends, often incorporating family members and close friends in the ceremony.
I would be delighted to meet with you to ensure that your ceremony is unique and personally crafted to meaningfully and truly reflect you. It will be a privilege to meet with you, discuss your requirements, offer advice and guidance, and to then prepare and conduct your very own memorable ceremony. I am happy to travel.
