Wedding & Civil Partnership, Naming & Welcoming and Funeral Ceremonies

About

I've been a Humanist Celebrant since 2007 and find it extremely satisfying work that i truly love. Previously I've over 30 years experience of working with people of all ages, both with groups and one to one, mainly focusing on women's health, but also generally in mental health. I'm a trained Art Therapist, and also taught stress management for many years.
I feel very lucky to be living in wild and wonderfully beautiful Argyll, and also regularly enjoy city breaks in Glasgow visiting my two adult children.
Humanism means equality; we are all equal. As William Gladstone said; 'When the power of love replaces the love of power, then we shall know peace in this world'.

Wedding & Civil Partnership Ceremonies

I absolutely LOVE conducting weddings (having conducted over 500!) and I feel it an enormous privilege to be a part of such a special day.
I now concentrate mainly on elopements and I do my very best to help you to have the ceremony you really want, making it as unique and personal as possible. We will meet up, if practical, or Skype and spend as much time as is necessary to sort out the details, to make this meaningful and special for you. I will guide and help with the choices of music, readings, vows, symbolic gestures, etc. as much or as little as you require.
Please get in touch and we can chat more about it!

Naming & Welcoming Ceremonies

I have conducted quite a few baby namings now, and they have all been delightful, so I look forward to doing more!

Funeral Ceremonies

I always feel honoured and privileged to be a part of such an important ceremony. I do my utmost to offer a loving, honest and accurate portrayal of the person's life, with the person's family and friends playing an essential role in this process.
