We’re urging our members and supporters to write to their MSPs in support of assisted dying ahead of next week’s crucial vote

March 9, 2026

If you’re reading this, we want your help. The Opposition is flooding MSPs’ inboxes. We need you to write to your elected representatives in support of Scotland’s assisted dying bill.

Next Tuesday, 17 March, MSPs will hold the final vote on Scotland’s assisted dying law. And it’s on a knife edge. Opponents are flooding MSPs’ inboxes with scaremongering and misinformation.

That’s why we need you to step up and take action. Write to your MSPs using the button below and tell them that you support choice, compassion, and control at the end of life. That you want to bring an end to unnecessary suffering for terminally ill people across Scotland. That this bill is the most safeguarded and extensively researched piece of end-of-life legislation that Scotland could possibly have produced.

And, please, share your stories. Whether it’s your own end-of-life journey you’re concerned about, or that of a loved one, we know that personal stories make all the difference when MSPs make up their minds. Our email template is adaptable and you can add your own story in.

Tell your MSP the Time is Now for an Assisted Dying law

Please help us reach every MSP in Scotland to ask them to support Liam McArthur’s Assisted Dying bill in Scotland.
